DP Holt

D&P Holt, a leading commercial property agent, required a fresh design for their website to represent the company and to showcase the properties they had. Whistlefish worked closely with D&P Holt to understand their cliental and how customers would be using the website.

We developed bespoke functionality into the site such as latest properties, filtered property search, advanced search features, and a user log in area. The core design placed emphasis on the visual elements of purchasing a property with large images and icons throughout, to improve the user experience.

Responsive design

Having a fully responsive site is more important than ever with more people now using mobile devices than desktop computers.

CMS

This website is fully integrated into our very own CMS. This allows DP Holt to edit the content of their website without having to pay for developers time.

Faceted Search

DP Holt required a way for customers to search for a property based on their criteria. We implemented a faceted search on the site to achieve this.

Map with Drawable Area

Using The Google maps API we developed a map that could be drawn on freehand and would allow the user to specify an area based on the shape they had drawn.

Property Pilot Integration

Using an XML feed from Property Pilot(PP), we enabled DP Holt to have full control over the properties on their site through PP's own interface.

Email Notifications

As requested by DP Holt we developed a system that would alert customers whenever a new property was added to the site.
